Why companies design their identity with Design Elite
A subscription studio that builds a visual identity in approved stages, from mood direction to brand book, without skipping the part where decisions get written down.
Positioning work before the drawing starts
Market, competitors, audience, tone of voice. The visual direction gets argued from that, not from a hunch.
Tested on real surfaces first
We apply the identity to a business card, a homepage and a social post before locking it. Anything that falls apart on a surface gets fixed.
A brand book your team can run with
Hex and Pantone values, type scale, logo clear space, and a set of worked examples of what not to do.
A design subscription for building your visual identity
An identity takes weeks to design and years to roll out. The subscription covers both phases without a second quote.

Questions about designing a visual identity
How does designing a visual identity actually work?
It runs in four stages, each approved before the next begins. First a written positioning brief: market, direct competitors, audience, tone of voice. Then a mood direction that settles the look before anything is drawn. Then the logo, palette, typography and graphic style. Finally, application to real surfaces before anything is locked. At Design Elite you sign off on each stage before the next one starts.
What do I need to supply to get started?
Three things. A description of what you sell and who buys it. Three to five brands whose look you admire, and as many whose look you want to avoid. And the list of surfaces the identity has to survive on. If you already have graphic assets, we audit them first to work out what is worth keeping.
How long does a full identity take to design?
The positioning brief and mood direction fill the first week. Creative routes and logo rounds take the following ones. Lockups, applications and the brand book come last. In practice the schedule is set by how fast you review: turnaround on your side moves the date far more than production does.
Why test the identity on real surfaces before locking it?
An identity that looks good on a presentation board can collapse everywhere else: a logo that is illegible at 32 pixels, a palette that fails contrast, a display typeface that falls apart at caption size. So we apply each direction to a business card, a homepage and a social post before final sign-off. Anything that breaks gets fixed then, not six months later.
What happens once the identity is designed?
You get the source files, the vectors and a brand book documenting the usage rules. After that, the same team rolls the identity out across your surfaces over the life of the subscription: decks, social, print, interfaces. Continuity is what makes an identity stick, not the handover document.
