Maison Murata: A high-end universe to reveal the soul of an exceptional riadh in Marrakech

The challenge: create an elegant, coherent and distinctive brand in record time
Maison Murata is a future high-end riad nestled in the heart of the Marrakech medina, in the historic district of Mellah.
Inspired by the mystical landscapes of AlUla, this hotel project aims to offer an intimate, exclusive and ultra-personalized experience to an international clientele. With an opening scheduled for 2026, Maison Murata aims to become a reference for discreet luxury in Marrakech, by combining oriental refinement, tailor-made service (24-hour butler, high level concierge), and immersive architecture.
But before thinking about communication or marketing, we had to lay the foundations for a strong visual identity, capable of reflecting the unique vision of the place while meeting the requirements of a tight launch schedule (work, linen orders, stationery, etc.).
It is in this context that Maison Murata turned to Design Elite, with a clear request: design a simple, elegant, distinctive brand image... and delivered quickly.

Our mission: to create an immersive artistic direction, down to the smallest detail
We proposed 3 artistic direction tracks refined, nourished by the client's mood board, the first architectural inspirations of the place, and the codes of contemporary luxury.
Each proposal was designed to be concretely projected into the Maison Murata universe:
- Typographic logo all in finesse, sober and noble
- Nude & earth palette, inspired by natural materials (stone, wood, textile)
- Vegetable and mineral inspirations, to evoke the patios, waterfalls and water games to come
But beyond the simple visual identity, we developed the brand in a complete customer experience logic : elegant signage (“do not disturb”, room cards), napkin design, packaging, stationery...
Once the AD was validated, we designed a full presentation deck of the concept, based on a PDF brief provided by the client, transformed into a clear, immersive document consistent with the brand's universe.

The artistic direction designed perfectly embodies the world of the hotel: peaceful, natural and exclusive luxury, far from bling, but strong in personality.
The presentation deck made it possible to better frame the project, attract partners, and structure all decision-making related to branding, decoration or physical media.
Our ability to project the brand down to the smallest detail (signage, accessories, textile products) was a real asset for the customer.
Maison Murata is now continuing its construction with a clear vision of its identity, and a trusted design partner to support it on its next steps.
