The challenge: testing and refining a unique visual identity for a hybrid concept
Face Cachée is a new kind of barber shop. Designed as a real place to live, it combines high-end hairdressing salon and professional photo studio.
The concept: allow customers to come for a cup, then leave with a stylized photo shoot, carried out in a refined setting. A hybrid project, halfway between art and lifestyle, which shakes up the classic codes of hairdressing salons.
Before collaborating with Design Elite, the founding team had a clear idea: to make Face Cachée a unique place, immediately recognizable thanks to a strong visual identity. But it still had to be found.
The innovative positioning of the show required thinking outside the box, avoiding the traditional codes of the barber shop, and building a disruptive, elegant and artistic brand image.
The need was therefore specific: Quickly test several creative paths, explore daring visual worlds, and be able to compare in real conditions what worked best on physical media.
We needed a design team that could deliver quickly, iterate a lot, and manage the production of all the assets needed for a launch.
Face Cachée was therefore looking for a partner capable of offering several artistic directions in record time, while producing all the materials to launch the show — from flyers to business cards, including outdoor signage.

Our intervention: 7 artistic directions in 2 months, a complete and tailor-made execution
To support Face Cachée in the launch of its concept, we have set up an ultra-intensive and structured collaboration over two months. The objective: to explore a maximum viable artistic directions and deliver all the visual elements necessary for the opening of the show.
Thanks to our subscription-based design formula, we were able to quickly deliver, test, and refine each track methodically.
In just eight weeks, we achieved more than 7 different visual identities, each available on the key physical supports of the barber shop: logo, sign, storefront, business cards, flyers, stickers, stickers, posters and decorative elements.
Each direction proposed a distinct graphic universe, with its colors, fonts, symbols and stylistic variations.
Our strength in this project has been respect the very conceptual artistic brief of the customer. He didn't want a classic barber shop, but a fully-fledged brand, somewhere between an art gallery and a design studio.
So we worked on very visual, abstract identities, often inspired by the world of fashion, tattooing or photography.
Each proposal was designed to be immediately recognizable, impactful, and adaptable to the different uses of the show — from the front to the booking tools.
This ability to deliver a lot, quickly, and accurately allowed the team to confidently decide on the final direction.

Thanks to Design Elite, the Face Cachée project was able to acquire in record time a visual identity that was coherent, impacting and faithful to its artistic vision.
While working on more than 7 creative directions in 2 months, we allowed the founding team to make the right choice, without compromise, by comparing concrete proposals on all key physical media.
The customer now has a complete graphic universe: logo, storefront, posters, business cards, print media, decorative elements, stickers and more.
All these elements, designed to work together, facilitated the preparation of the launch of the show, while strengthening its uniqueness on the market.

The positioning of Face Cachée as an artistic, original and quirky barber shop has been perfectly transcribed thanks to our artistic direction work.
But the collaboration doesn't end there. Since the validation of the graphic charter, we have continued to support Face Cachée in creation of its website, and in the digital version of all its communication media.
Visuals for social networks, promotional content, story or feed templates... we adapt the validated graphic universe at each point of contact with their audience.
The client highlights our ability to understand their desires, to propose new ideas and to translate an artistic vision into concrete, usable and elegant elements.
Face Cachée is now ready to open its doors with a strong, differentiating and perfectly controlled visual identity. And that is only the beginning.
Design Elite remains at their side to develop, enrich and bring this innovative concept to life on all media.
